Our History

1967
SIRPI founded by Dr. E. Hassan and starts selling screenprinting inks and related products.

 

1971
First manufacturing facility and research laboratory built.

 

1972
SIRPI starts manufacturing Pcb inks and products. First solvent soluble Acid Resist produced.

 

1973
First alkali soluble Acid and Plating Resist produced.

 

1974
First two pack Solder Resist produced.

 

1978
SIRPI opens a new branch in Rome, with offices, warehouse and stretching facilities to service central and southern Italy.

 

1980
First UV Acid Resist produced. Expands sales of UV curable screen inks into the graphic market.

 

1982
First UV curable Solder Resist produced.

 

SIRPI opens a new branch in Bassano Del Grappa (Vi), with offices, warehouse and stretching facilities to serve the North East region.

 

1984
Dr E. Hassan builds a new larger manufacturing unit in Binago ( Co ).

 

1988
New quality control laboratory opened to expand research activities.

 

1993
First Photoimageable liquid Solder Mask produced.

 

1994
First liquid Etch Resist produced.

 

1995
SIRPI signs distribution agreement with Ciba Polymer for sales of Photoimageable products under the Ciba brand.

 

1996
New warehouse facility built in Ancona.

 

1997
SIRPI becomes one of first firms in its market to achieve ISO 9002 accreditation.

 

1998
SIRPI starts direct sales of Pcb inks following end of distribution agreement with Ciba Polymer.

 

1999
SIRPI builds up international network for the sales of its Pcb inks.

 

2000
Widening of research and development labs

 

2002
Starting the research on solvent based inks for digital print.

 

2004
Starting the research on UV inks for digital print.
